Newcastle United book their spot back on the English Premier League for next season
Newcastle United Football Club have sealed their spot back on the English Premier League for next season despite more than a month remaining in the current season. They have a 17 points difference between them and 3rd place Nottingham Forest in the English Championship Table, and are more than sure to secure atleast one the the two automatic promotion spots into the English Premier League.

Mizoram dancers jive into Guinness records
Ms. Sinigaliesi also handed over a certificate of record to Art and Culture Minister P C Zoramsangliana.
The total number of dancers in the Cheraw were 10,736 in 671 groups spread between a 2.5 km stretch of the main city road between Sikulpuikawn in the south and Chanmari and in the north as well as inside the Assam Rifles ground.
While 2,518 dancers were on the main road, there were 8,224 inside the Assam Rifles ground who performed for eight minutes exclusive of the rehearsals.
The dancers included members of Young Mizo Association and students from middle school to college levels.
Talking to reporters, Sinigaliesi said though some people in South East Asia also perform the bamboo dance, research suggests Cheraw originated from Mizoram.
"To make or break records the dances have to be traditional and performers must wear traditional dresses as done colourfully today," she said.

ThePirateBay.org's Torrents Remain Online Despite Court Order to remove them
Last October the Amsterdam Court ruled that three former Pirate Bay operators had to remove a list of ‘infringing’ torrents from the website and block access to Dutch users. The Pirate Bay trio had to comply with the Court’s demands before today, but nothing has changed and it’s unlikely that the Dutch will be shut out of the site in the near future.

South African school dormitory closes after lesbian kiss
South African education officials are investigating reports that a girls' boarding school dormitory was closed because of lesbian relationships.
Two girls who were caught kissing reportedly said that other pupils were involved in same-sex relationships, and 27 pupils were expelled.
Rights activists say the high school in KwaZulu-Natal province has overreacted.
South Africa is the only African country to guarantee freedom from discrimination to homosexuals.
However, activists say that prejudice remains common.
The school has not been named. The Star newspaper says some the pupils who have not been able to return home have been moved to houses near the school on a temporary basis.
South African Education Department spokesman Sihle Mlotshwa is quoted by the Star newspaper as saying that schools do not have the right to remove or expel pupils because of their sexual orientation.
